Old Forester’s annual Birthday Bourbon release honors the legacy of founder George Garvin Brown, who launched the brand in 1870. The 2021 edition marks the 21st release in this celebrated series, aging for 12 years before bottling at 104 proof. Each year, a select group of barrels is chosen for this limited bottling, making it highly sought after by collectors. The unique bottle design, with its wide base and elegant neck, has become an icon among bourbon enthusiasts. Released every September to coincide with Brown’s birthday, this expression celebrates Old Forester’s enduring influence on the bourbon world and reflects the brand’s continuous presence on Louisville’s Whiskey Row for over 150 years. The 2021 release is notable both for its age statement and for being produced in limited quantities, making it a prized addition to any collection.
