Old Forester ‘150th Anniversary’ Batch Proof Bourbon Batch #2 honors the storied legacy of America’s first bottled bourbon. Released in 2020, this limited edition was created to celebrate 150 years since George Garvin Brown founded Old Forester in 1870, marking a milestone for one of Kentucky’s most historic whiskey brands. Each bottle in this commemorative series features a unique batch proof and is presented in elegant packaging that recalls Old Forester’s original Louisville distillery. The unfiltered bourbon pays homage to the pioneering spirit that made Old Forester the only bourbon continuously sold before, during, and after Prohibition. With only a handful of batches released, Batch #2 stands as a rare collector’s piece, connecting modern enthusiasts to generations of whiskey heritage. Its impressive 126.4 proof reflects the legacy of bold Kentucky distilling traditions.
