Stagg Jr. Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch #6, released in 2016, continues the legacy of the George T. Stagg lineage—a name revered by bourbon enthusiasts. Produced at Buffalo Trace Distillery, this batch stands out for its uncut, unfiltered style and an impressive 132.5 proof, capturing the bold character sought by collectors. The Stagg Jr. line was introduced in 2013 as a younger sibling to the legendary George T. Stagg, offering similar intensity with a more approachable profile. Batch #6 is particularly coveted due to its limited release and the reputation it has gained among fans for marking a turning point in consistency and quality within the series. Its distinctive antlered label and squat bottle design make it instantly recognizable, making this release a prized piece for anyone seeking a significant chapter in modern bourbon history.
