Woodford Reserve’s Master’s Collection Series 11, Brandy Cask Finish, debuted in 2016 as a bold experiment in American whiskey innovation. This limited release pays homage to the distillery’s historic roots, drawing inspiration from 19th-century practices when whiskey was often finished in various cask types to enhance character. For this unique edition, fully matured Woodford Reserve bourbon was transferred into American brandy barrels, echoing old-world finishing techniques and adding a new dimension to the distillery’s portfolio. The elegant bottle design, with a distinctive tapered neck and embossed detailing, highlights the collection’s premium status. At 90.4 proof, this release stands as a pivotal addition to the Master’s Collection, capturing the spirit of exploration that defines Woodford Reserve’s legacy. Collectors and enthusiasts alike seek this bottle for its innovative approach and its place in the ongoing evolution of Kentucky bourbon tradition.
