Blanton’s Takara Black is a rare expression of the world’s first single barrel bourbon, originally produced at Buffalo Trace Distillery. Released exclusively for the Japanese market, this edition reflects Blanton’s longstanding partnership with Takara Shuzo, a company instrumental in bringing the brand to Japan in the late 1980s. Bottled at 80 proof, it offers a unique profile tailored to local preferences. The iconic bottle features the distinctive horse and jockey stopper, and the elegant black label is exclusive to this international release. Collectors value the Takara Black for its limited availability outside Japan and its connection to Blanton’s enduring legacy.
