This special, one-time batch of rye was originally distilled in 2003 by Booker Noe as some of the final barrels filled before his passing in 2004. The whiskey was bottled by his son, Fred Noe, in 2016.

The only rye bottled under the Booker's label and it remains unclear if another will be released in the future. Although never confirmed by Jim Beam, the count for this release is believed to be slightly over 9,000 bottles
