Colonel E.H. Taylor Four Grain Bourbon (2018) stands out as a tribute to one of bourbon’s great innovators, Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. Released in 2018, this limited-edition bourbon was crafted at Buffalo Trace Distillery, using a unique mash bill of corn, rye, wheat, and malted barley—a rare combination that honors 19th-century production methods. Bottled at 100 proof to comply with Bottled-in-Bond Act standards, this release pays homage to Taylor’s pivotal role in shaping modern bourbon regulations and quality controls. Each bottle, presented in a vintage-inspired tube, echoes the legacy of Colonel Taylor’s influence on American whiskey history, making it a prized addition for collectors and enthusiasts alike.
