Elijah Craig 12 Year Barrel Proof Bourbon, Batch 9 (2015), stands as a significant entry in Heaven Hill’s celebrated series. Bottled at 135.6 proof, this batch continues the legacy of Elijah Craig, a name steeped in bourbon tradition dating back to the late 18th century. The series debuted in 2013, offering aficionados a chance to experience uncut, unfiltered bourbon aged for a full dozen years. Batch 9, released in 2015, quickly became a collector’s favorite due to its formidable strength and the continued scarcity of age-stated barrel proof releases. The bottle’s classic, broad-shouldered design, adorned with the iconic black and gold label, signals its place among sought-after expressions. Each bottle is individually marked with batch and proof, highlighting its unique production. Elijah Craig 12 Year Barrel Proof remains a cherished piece of modern bourbon history, especially in its early, age-stated form.
