George T. Stagg is a cornerstone of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, celebrated for honoring one of bourbon’s pioneering figures. Named after George T. Stagg, who helped shape Buffalo Trace Distillery’s legacy in the 19th century, this whiskey has become synonymous with tradition and rarity. The 2023 release continues this heritage, reflecting the distillery’s dedication to age and complexity. Bottled at a striking 130 proof, it’s sought after by collectors and enthusiasts for its limited annual availability and long-standing reputation. The elegant bottle, adorned with stag antlers and distinguished labeling, hints at its prestigious lineage. George T. Stagg stands as an icon among American whiskeys, revered for its historical significance and the enduring allure of the Antique Collection.
