The Old Rip Van Winkle 25 Year Bourbon Decanter (2017) represents a remarkable chapter in American whiskey history. Distilled in 1989 and aged for a quarter-century, this bourbon hails from the legendary Stitzel-Weller Distillery, an iconic name among collectors and enthusiasts. Only 710 bottles were released, each housed in a hand-numbered glass decanter and presented in a bespoke wooden box. The decanter itself features a detailed etching of the Old Rip Van Winkle figure, echoing the brand’s rich heritage. The accompanying certificate of authenticity highlights its rare provenance and the meticulous journey from barrel to bottle. Bottled at 100 proof, this release stands as one of the oldest and most limited Van Winkle bourbons ever offered, making it a highly sought-after piece for those passionate about bourbon history and legacy.
