Van Winkle Special Reserve Lot B 12 Year (2011) stands as a highly sought-after release from the legendary Van Winkle line, produced at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. Introduced in the mid-1990s, Lot B quickly earned a reputation for its accessible age statement and distinctive profile, setting it apart from its older siblings in the Van Winkle portfolio. The 2011 bottling is especially prized among collectors, reflecting a period when demand for Van Winkle bourbons was reaching new heights but availability remained limited. The iconic label, classic bottle shape, and signature red capsule have become hallmarks for enthusiasts. With its moderate proof of 90.4, this 12-year-old bourbon offers a window into the era before the Van Winkle phenomenon reached full global frenzy, making the 2011 release a significant piece of modern American whiskey history.
