William Larue Weller is a legend within the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection (BTAC), renowned for its deep roots in the story of wheated bourbon. Named after the 19th-century distilling pioneer who first used wheat instead of rye in his mash bill, this annual release honors his innovative legacy. The 2021 edition, bottled at 125.3 proof, continues the tradition of unfiltered, barrel-strength bourbon that collectors eagerly anticipate each fall. The distinctive tall bottle and classic label reflect both heritage and exclusivity. Each year’s release is limited and highly sought-after, making the 2021 William Larue Weller a prized addition for enthusiasts who appreciate the history and significance behind this iconic name in American whiskey.
