Blanton’s Straight From The Barrel Bourbon (2022) stands as a highly sought-after release from the iconic Buffalo Trace Distillery. Introduced in the early 2000s, the Straight From The Barrel series honors the legacy of Colonel Albert B. Blanton, a pioneer of single barrel bourbon. Each bottle is filled uncut and unfiltered, preserving the pure essence of the aging process. The 2022 edition, bottled at 128.8 proof, features the signature Blanton’s horse-and-jockey stopper and handwritten label, reflecting the attention to detail that makes each bottle unique. Collectors value this edition for its limited availability and connection to the storied history of Blanton’s, the world’s first single barrel bourbon, originally launched in 1984. The distinct bottle shape and packaging pay homage to the brand’s heritage, making this 2022 release a prized addition for enthusiasts of American whiskey history.
