The Van Winkle 12 Year Special Reserve 'Lot B' (2022) stands as a celebrated entry in the storied Van Winkle bourbon lineage. Named in honor of Julian “Pappy” Van Winkle, this bourbon is produced at Buffalo Trace Distillery, continuing a legacy that began in the early 20th century. Lot B refers to select barrels set aside for their unique aging qualities, maturing for a full 12 years—an impressive duration in the world of bourbon. With each annual release, this bottle’s reputation for scarcity and collectability grows, driven by high demand and limited allocation. The label’s classic design and signature red cap further connect it to the revered Van Winkle family heritage, making the 2022 edition a sought-after piece for enthusiasts and collectors alike.
