Colonel E.H. Taylor Four Grain Bourbon, released in 2017, honors the legacy of a pioneering figure in American whiskey history. This limited-edition bottle is part of the esteemed E.H. Taylor line, produced at Buffalo Trace Distillery. The "Four Grain" name refers to the unique mash bill blending corn, rye, wheat, and malted barley, reflecting the experimental spirit of Colonel Taylor himself. Bottled in Bond at 100 proof, it follows strict standards established in the late 19th century—a nod to Taylor’s influence in the creation of the Bottled-in-Bond Act. Each bottle is presented in a vintage-inspired canister, featuring Taylor’s signature and period-style labeling. The 2017 release quickly became a collector’s favorite, celebrated for its rarity and historical significance among whiskey enthusiasts.
