Eagle Rare 17 Year, part of the revered Buffalo Trace Antique Collection (BTAC), stands as a highly sought-after release among bourbon collectors. First introduced in the early 2000s, this expression pays homage to the original Eagle Rare brand, which dates back to 1975. The 2025 edition continues the tradition, bottled at 101 proof—a nod to the original bottling strength from the early days of Eagle Rare. Each annual release is drawn from carefully selected barrels aged for nearly two decades in Buffalo Trace’s historic warehouses. The tall, elegant bottle and distinctive labeling reflect the legacy and prestige of Eagle Rare. With its limited availability and connection to both the heritage of Kentucky bourbon and the modern era of collectible whiskey, the 2025 Eagle Rare 17 Year remains a coveted addition to any serious collection.
