Four Gate’s ‘Port Perryperry’ Rye is an exceptional limited release, aged for eight years before being finished in Australian Tawny Port and French Aperitif casks. This unique maturation journey reflects Four Gate’s commitment to innovation and quality, blending old-world barrel influences with American rye tradition. Bottled at 112.2 proof, this rye stands out for its complexity and character, shaped by careful barrel selection and a deliberate finishing process. The name ‘Port Perryperry’ pays homage to both the port casks and the creative approach that defines Four Gate releases. As with all Four Gate bottlings, the label highlights its small batch ethos, with each release produced in numbered batches and never chill filtered. Collectors and enthusiasts value this bottle not just for its age, but for its distinct story and the adventurous spirit behind its creation.
