Peerless Double Oak Rye ‘NC ABC Commission #1’ is a distinctive release from the historic Kentucky Peerless Distilling Co., a name revived in 2015 with deep roots tracing back to the late 1800s. This special bottling was selected exclusively for the North Carolina ABC Commission, marking it as a unique single barrel offering. Its double oak maturation process—a hallmark for Peerless—reflects a modern twist on tradition, where the whiskey is aged in two separate new charred oak barrels. Bottled at 112.2 proof and presented in Peerless’ signature glass, this release stands out for collectors and enthusiasts seeking a piece of both Kentucky and North Carolina whiskey history. Each bottle is individually numbered, further distinguishing it as a limited and highly sought-after edition. The Peerless Double Oak Rye ‘NC ABC Commission #1’ captures the innovation and legacy that define the Peerless revival.
