According to Four Roses, 2008 was the 120th anniversary of the company name and this blend or "mariage" consists of a batch of 13yr 5mo OBSV and 10yr 10mo OESK personally selected by Jim Rutledge.
This release is historically significant; it's the first "version" of what later became the annual blended Small Batch Limited Edition. Only 3,492 bottles were produced.
