The 2009 release of George T. Stagg is a celebrated member of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection (BTAC), highly sought after by bourbon collectors worldwide. Named after one of bourbon’s historic pioneers, George T. Stagg, this bottle pays tribute to the distillery’s 19th-century roots and enduring legacy in Kentucky. Bottled at 141.4 proof, the 2009 edition stands out for its intensity and rarity, marking it as one of the higher-proof releases in BTAC history. Each annual batch is crafted from carefully selected barrels, and the 2009 vintage has become a prized catch among enthusiasts, known for its limited availability. The bottle’s signature antlers and classic design evoke the strength of its namesake and the enduring tradition of American whiskey-making, making it a standout piece in any serious collection.
