George T. Stagg, a cornerstone of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, honors one of bourbon history’s great pioneers. The 2016 release, aged 15 years and bottled at a bold 144.1 proof, reflects the distillery’s dedication to time-honored methods. Stagg’s legacy began in the late 19th century, with the distillery becoming a symbol of resilience through Prohibition and beyond. This bottle’s slender, tall silhouette and iconic antlered logo are instantly recognizable to collectors. Each annual release is highly coveted, and the 2016 bottling is especially sought after due to its limited availability and striking character. For enthusiasts, it represents a significant chapter in the ongoing story of Kentucky bourbon.
