Distilled and barreled in 1989/1990 at the old Heaven Hill distillery before the fire. Exactly 41 barrels were chosen and blended for this release; the final result is an extremely low actual barrel proof of 94.7.
Heaven Hill claims over 80% of the whiskey from this group of barrels was lost to evaporation before bottling.
