The Old Forester 12 Year Birthday Bourbon (2014) is a celebrated annual release honoring the September birthday of George Garvin Brown, founder of Old Forester. Introduced in 2002, Birthday Bourbon quickly became a sought-after collectible, with each year’s release offering a unique snapshot of Old Forester’s storied heritage. The 2014 edition was aged for 12 years and bottled at 97 proof, continuing the tradition of limited quantities and hand-selected barrels. The distinctive squat bottle and green seal pay homage to historic packaging, while the portrait tag nods to the Brown family legacy. This release is cherished by enthusiasts for its connection to the oldest continuously operating bourbon brand in the United States.
