The 1998 Van Winkle Family Reserve Rye is widely recognized as being distilled at the Medley Distillery in Owensboro, Kentucky. Bottled by Julian Van Winkle III during the Lawrenceburg era (before the move to Buffalo Trace), this 13-year-old rye is considered a 100% Medley product from that era.
This is one of the very first Van Winkle Rye ever bottled. Comes with original bag of loose rye seed and hang tag.
