The Willett Family Estate 7 Year Single Barrel Bourbon #1572 “D&M Whiskey Club” (2008) is a rare bottling that captures a pivotal moment in Kentucky bourbon history. Selected exclusively for the D&M Whiskey Club, this barrel was distilled and filled in 2001, then bottled in 2008 at 121.8 proof. The Willett family’s legacy traces back to the 1930s, and their single barrel releases quickly gained cult status among collectors, especially in the early 2000s. Each hand-numbered bottle features the iconic Willett family crest, reflecting the distillery’s deep roots and small-batch philosophy. Bottlings like this emerged during a period when independent selections were beginning to shape bourbon’s modern renaissance, making this release especially sought after. With only a limited number of bottles drawn from a single cask, it remains a prized find for those who appreciate the unique stories behind collectible bourbons.
