Woodford Reserve’s ‘Master’s Collection’ Series 17 Five-Malt Stouted Mash Malt Whiskey is a nod to tradition and innovation. Inspired by the classic stouts of Europe, this limited-edition release draws from Woodford Reserve’s deep roots in Kentucky distilling, blending five distinct malts for a uniquely layered mash bill. The Master’s Collection series began as a tribute to historic practices pioneered at the Woodford Reserve Distillery, one of America’s oldest, dating back to the early 1800s. Series 17 highlights experimentation, echoing the creative spirit of distillery founder Oscar Pepper and master distiller James Crow. Bottled at 90.4 proof, it brings a contemporary twist to heritage whiskey-making, capturing the vision of Woodford’s modern-day Master Distiller, Chris Morris. With its distinctive packaging and innovative approach, this release stands out as a collector’s favorite, bridging Kentucky bourbon history with inventive malt whiskey design.
