Colonel E.H. Taylor ‘Cured Oak’ Bourbon (2026) pays homage to one of whiskey’s most influential pioneers, Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. This limited release is part of the revered E.H. Taylor lineup, recognized for championing the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. The “Cured Oak” moniker reflects a unique maturation process: barrels are crafted from staves that undergo an extended curing period, heightening the influence of the wood during aging. Bottled at 100 proof in keeping with the Bottled-in-Bond tradition, this 2026 release continues Buffalo Trace’s legacy of honoring traditional methods while embracing innovation. The cylindrical canister and classic label design evoke the era of Taylor himself, making this edition a coveted addition for collectors and historians alike. Each release of ‘Cured Oak’ is eagerly anticipated, with the 2026 bottling standing out as a tribute to both heritage and rarity in American whiskey.
