Colonel E.H. Taylor ‘Cured Oak’ Bourbon (2026) is a highly anticipated release in the historic Taylor line, honoring Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr.—a legendary figure in the modernization of American whiskey. Inspired by 19th-century techniques, this limited edition draws its name from the unique process of air-curing oak staves for over a year before barrel construction, a nod to the patience and innovation that Taylor himself championed. Bottled in Bond at 100 proof, it reflects the legacy of government standards introduced during Taylor’s era. The presentation, complete with vintage-style labeling and a signature canister, echoes the original bottlings from the Buffalo Trace Distillery. Collectors and enthusiasts value the ‘Cured Oak’ series for its connection to tradition and the ongoing story of one of bourbon’s most influential pioneers. This 2026 edition continues to elevate the legacy of Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr., making it a prized addition to any collection.
