Colonel E.H. Taylor ‘Cured Oak’ Bourbon (2026) draws inspiration from the innovative legacy of Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr., a key figure in the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. Released in 2026, this special edition honors Taylor’s relentless pursuit of excellence and experimentation. The “Cured Oak” reference highlights a unique maturation process, where barrels are seasoned for an extended period before filling, echoing 19th-century techniques. Bottled at 100 proof and packaged in Taylor’s signature tall bottle and canister, this release evokes the heritage and grandeur of his original warehouse in Kentucky. Collectors and enthusiasts alike are drawn to its historical reverence and the tradition it represents, making it a prized addition to any whiskey library.
