Old Forester’s 12 Year 'Birthday' Bourbon (2024) continues a revered annual tradition that began in 2002, honoring the September birthday of George Garvin Brown, the brand’s founder. Each year’s release is highly anticipated among collectors and aficionados, as no two editions are exactly alike—each barrel is selected to showcase the distillery’s legacy for innovation and excellence since 1870. The 2024 release, bottled at 107 proof, features the instantly recognizable wide-shouldered decanter and vintage-style labeling. The attached portrait tag commemorates Brown himself, linking the bottle to its roots in Kentucky heritage. As a limited edition, this 12-year-old expression offers enthusiasts a rare opportunity to own a piece of Old Forester’s living history, making it a coveted addition to any serious bourbon collection.
