Blood Oath Pact No. 2, released in 2016, marked the sophomore chapter of John Rempe’s acclaimed limited-edition series. Each year, Rempe hand-selects unique bourbons to create a one-time blend, ensuring that each Pact is distinct and never replicated. Pact No. 2 weaves together a rare mix of well-aged bourbons, drawing from both rye-forward and wheated mash bills to create a singular release. This bottling is presented at 98.6 proof, a subtle nod to the average human body temperature—a detail that reflects the personal signature and promise behind each Pact. The elegant, rectangular bottle and custom wooden display box highlight the collectible nature and attention to detail that enthusiasts have come to expect from the Blood Oath series. With only a limited number available, Pact No. 2 quickly became a highly sought-after release for bourbon collectors and aficionados alike.
