Joseph A. Magnus 'Cigar Blend' Bourbon (Batch 146) celebrates a distinctive legacy, drawing inspiration from pre-Prohibition blending traditions pioneered by Joseph Magnus himself. Revived in the 21st century, the Magnus brand honors old-world methods, blending carefully selected bourbons with Armagnac, sherry, and cognac cask finishes. The ‘Cigar Blend’ series, crafted by renowned Master Blender Nancy Fraley, is designed to evoke the elegance and complexity of bourbons once enjoyed alongside fine cigars. Each batch, including Batch 146 at 115.4 proof, is individually numbered and represents a unique marriage of carefully sourced barrels. The signature bottle, featuring vintage-inspired embossed labeling and a wax-dipped cork, pays homage to the brand’s heritage and its commitment to excellence in blending. Collectors and enthusiasts alike seek out these limited releases for their unique place in American whiskey history.
